Lending a Helping Hand with the Diaper Bank of NC
On February 6, Positive Childhood Alliance NC (PCANC) joined forces with the Diaper Bank of NC to support families and build community. Together, PCANC staff rolled up their sleeves to sort, pack, and prepare essential supplies that make a difference in the lives of families and children during Family Support Awareness Month.
The Diaper Bank of NC is just one great example of family support programs, which play a critical role in promoting healthy child development and strengthening families. For many, access to basic necessities like diapers can mean the difference between stability and stress. This type of support helps to provide concrete support for parents — one of the five Protective Factors.
