Part-time Operations Assistant – Durham

Ideal candidates will have top-notch organization and customer service skills, as well as the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. 

Responsibilities include:

·  Provide support to the organization, including clerical, data entry, and reception duties.

·  Proactively and effectively communicate via phone and email with empathy and discretion.

·  Maintain a clean and organized work environment. 

·  Organize thank you messaging to donors and volunteers.

·  Assist with coordination of shipping/receiving of donation orders.

The person in the role will be required to lift and move donations to maintain organization and proper storage.  Candidate should have exceptional communication skills, a personable disposition, and a flexible attitude.  Administrative experience in a professional environment required.  Non-profit experience is preferred.  The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM.  However, business needs may require the ability to stay later on occasion.

Part-time, Temporary Operations Assistant- Lower Cape Fear

Ideal candidates will have top-notch organization and customer service skills, as well as the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities include:

·  Provide support to the organization, including clerical, data entry, and reception duties.

·  Proactively and effectively communicate via phone and email with empathy and discretion.

·  Fill orders from existing community partners and additional agencies providing disaster relief assistance.

·  Host volunteer groups.

·  Build relationships with community and corporate partners, and donation Hot Spot collection hosts.

·  Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

·  Organize thank you messaging to donors and volunteers.

·  Assist with receiving and inventory of donations.

·  Assist with fundraising efforts.

The person in the role will be required to lift and move donations to maintain organization and proper storage.  Candidate should have exceptional communication skills, a personable disposition, and a flexible attitude.  Non-profit experience is preferred. Ten to 15 hours per week, which may include occasional evening and weekend hours.
